Draft Minutes of Lt Bytham PC Meeting 4th January 2024 7.30pm in the Village Hall
- Public Forum (15 minutes maximum) Two members of the public attended the forum. One member raised concerns regarding the supply of sandbags for the villagers affected by the recent flooding. The Clerk confirmed receipt of correspondence from SKDC offering a supply of a tonne of sand and 100 bags. The PC will take advantage of the offer and advertise the availability of sandbags to the residents. The PC to initiate an emergency plan for the village.

- To receive declarations of interest in accordance with the 2011 Local Government Act. – personal or prejudicial interest in any items for discussion. None.
- Draft Minutes of the Parish Council meeting held on Thursday 2nd November 2023 to be approved as the Minutes. Having previously circulated the minutes to the Councillors, the minute were approved.
- Matters arising: Cllr’s Sharpe and Hodgson are discussing the sighting of the dog waste bin in Church Lane. Cllr Hodgson advised due to the age of the village defibrillator and its poor conditions it needs to be replaced. A local resident attending the meeting very kindly offered to donate a new defibrillator to the village.
- Councillors’ and Clerk’s reports:
5.1 County and District Councillors’ Reports. LCC Cllr Vernon encouraged the PC and local residents to participate in the survey for devolution in Greater Lincolnshire. You can take the survey by visiting www.letstalk.lincolnshire.gov.uk or contact 01522555222.
5.2 Councillors Reports. None.
6.0 Financial Matters
6.1 Financial report: position at bank. The Clerk provided the accounts to date which were accepted unanimously.
6.2 To resolve to pay the following: Clerks Salary & Expenses £396.72, Complete Maintenance (Parish Room Wall) £1275.
6.3 Precept 2024/25. The Clerk provided a budget statement up to the financial year end. After discussion,
the Councillors agreed, having sufficient funds available, they will apply for a zero precept for 2024/25.
7.0 Highways. Concerns were raised regarding the Carlby / Hollywell / Stamford Rd crossroads. Cllr Vernon confirm she was speaking to
Highways with a view to changing the road marking and signage, make the junction safer.
