Draft Minutes of the Annual Meeting of Lt Bytham PC Meeting 7th May 2026 8.00pm in the Village Hall
- Appointment of Chair for 2026-27. Cllr Hodgson was voted to stand as Chair for the coming year, the Councillors thanked her for her commitment to the Parish.
- Apologies for Absence. None.
- To receive declarations of interest in accordance with the 2011 Local Government Act. – personal or prejudicial interest in any items for discussion. None.
- Draft Minutes of the Parish Council meeting held on Thursday 19th February 2025 to be approved as the Minutes. Having been previously circulated, the draft minutes were approver and signed.
- Matters arising: None.
- Councillors’ reports:
6.2 Councillors Reports. Cllr Hodgkin proposed a third Dog Waste bin be purchased for the village and located by the public footpath as you leave the village in the direction of Creeton. This was seconded by Cllr Hodgson.
7.0 Financial Matters
7.1 Annual Governance Statement: The annual accounts for 2025-26, having been audited, the Clerk presented the
Annual Governance Statement, (AGAR forms 2025-26) to the Councillors for approval. Once approved they were signed by the Chair and Clerk.
They will be forwarded to PKF Littlejohn accountants for inspection.
7.2 Financial report: position at bank. The Clerk presented the year-to-date accounts to the Councillors for approval,
these were accepted unanimously. Having received the Precept for this year, £1500, the account balance to date is £4238.53.
7.3 To resolve to pay the following: Clerks Salary £344.76. Zurich Insurance renewal £264.49. These were agreed and signed.
8.0 Highways. Cllr Hodgkin advised the Councillors, the footpath leading to the Primary School has become obstructed with grass and weeds making it difficult to manoeuvre buggies etc. The Clerk will contact Highways requesting a team visit the site and clear it.
9.0 Planning applications. None.
10.0 Correspondence: An email was received from a resident raising concerns over the condition of a property in Station Road. The Clerk will endeavour to make contact with the property owner requesting the garden is cleared.
11.0 Other matters for discussion. None.
12.0 Date of next Meeting – Thursday 6th of August 2026.
